Terms of Service

These terms ("Terms") govern your use of Remove Background From Video at removebackgroundfromvideo.org ("the Service"). The Service is operated by Wang Wei (王维), an individual independent developer based in China ("we", "us"). By using the Service or buying credits you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live), and that you agree to these Terms, our privacy policy, our acceptable use policy and our refund policy. 1. The Service

You upload a video clip (MP4, MOV, WebM or animated GIF, up to 60 seconds and 50 MB) and AI removes its background. You can download the result as a transparent WebM, a ProRes 4444 MOV, a transparent GIF, or an MP4 on a solid colour. Audio is kept. Changing the background with your own image and blurring the background are done in your browser. GIF colour-key mode runs fully in your browser and uploads nothing. The Service is a digital product delivered online. Results are generated by AI: they vary with the footage and may not be perfect.

AI model

Clips are processed with Bria Video Background Removal v3, made by Bria AI, which we access through fal.ai, an AI model hosting platform. Your uploaded clip is sent to fal.ai for processing. The quality and availability of the Service depend partly on these providers. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Bria AI or fal.ai.

2. Accounts and guest use

You can use the Service as a guest, with an anonymous session. Results made as a guest are offered for 3 days. If you sign up (sign-in is by email), your results are kept in your account.

If you create an account, give an accurate email address, keep your sign-in access private, and tell us at support@removebackgroundfromvideo.org if you think someone else used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Credits and payment

• Processing uses credits: 1 credit equals 1 second of video, rounded up per clip.
• Credits are sold in one-time packs: Starter ($9.90, 60 credits), Creator ($29.90, 240), Pro ($79.90, 720) and Studio ($199.90, 2000). Current packs are on the pricing page.
• There is no subscription and no watermark. Credits never expire. They are not transferable, can't be exchanged for cash, and are only used on this site.
• Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record, which handles the payment, receipt and taxes. We never see or store your card number.
• Credits are added to your balance as soon as the payment is confirmed.

4. Refunds and failed jobs

If a job fails, its credits go back to your balance automatically. Refunds of purchases are covered by our refund policy.

5. Billing questions

If you think a charge is wrong, please write to support@removebackgroundfromvideo.org before disputing it with your bank, and include your checkout email. We reply within 2 business days.

6. Acceptable use

You must follow our acceptable use policy. In short, you must have the rights to every video you upload, and you must not use the Service for:

• illegal content,
• adult pornography, sexually explicit or NSFW content, including sexual content involving minors,
• violence, gore, bloodshed, torture or the promotion of violence,
• hate speech, incitement to hatred or discrimination against protected groups,
• non-consensual intimate content,
• harassment, impersonation or deception, including deepfakes of real people without their consent,
• content that infringes someone else's rights.

You also must not scrape or resell the Service, or use it to overload or disrupt it. We may refuse a request, remove content, or suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. To report content, see reporting content.

7. Your content and the results

• Your videos. You keep the rights you have in your video. You give us a limited licence to store and process it only to deliver your result. We do not use your videos to train AI models.
• Your results. Subject to these Terms and the AI providers' terms, you may use the results for personal and commercial purposes. You are responsible for how you use and share them.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running but don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, or that a result will look a particular way. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

9. Ending use

You can stop using the Service at any time, and ask us to delete your account at support@removebackgroundfromvideo.org. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, is used for fraud, or when the law requires it. If we close your account for a reason other than a breach, unused purchased credits are refunded.

10. Disputes

Disputes are handled under the laws applicable to the operator. Please contact us first at support@removebackgroundfromvideo.org so we can try to resolve any problem informally. None of this affects your right to go to the courts, or to use the consumer protection rules, of the country where you live.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If the changes are significant we will note it on the site, and where we have your email we will tell you at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the new Terms. If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
